Statement from Seminole Office Solutions on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Seminole Office Solutions continues to monitor and follow any national, state, county and city advisements, recommendations or mandates.  Any staff that visit customer locations are required to take the recommended precautions, which at a minimum includes wearing facemasks and social distancing.  We continue to follow recommended CDC guidelines within our offices to minimize the risk of exposure for our employees or visitors.

Here at Seminole Office Solutions, our commitment during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is to keep your office workflows moving forward while maintaining the safety and health to all staff, both yours and ours.  We want to share some important measures that we have put into place to ensure that we can continue to support you safely and effectively.

Health and Safety

We are actively taking the necessary steps to minimize risk of exposure to the coronavirus to staff and clients.  This includes following the current and changing guidelines provided by the CDC, federal, state and local governments.    

For the safety of our clients and staff, we are limiting on-site visits to only when necessary.  For service calls on printing equipment, computers or other devices, we will first attempt to fix by phone or remotely if possible.  If an on-site visit is required, our team has been directed to follow proper CDC guidelines including social distancing as well as wearing gloves and face coverings.  Additionally, they will wipe down and disinfect, at a minimum, the control panel or common touch surfaces of the equipment after servicing.  We recommend that you also clean your MFD and other devices, following the proper hardware cleaning guide (applicable to any brand, not just Toshiba).

Business Continuity

We continue to adapt as required to ensure we are meeting our commitments to servicing and supporting our clients.  For office staff workers, we have allowed remote capable and high-risk staff the ability to work from home. They have full access to our systems and phones to allow for continued communication and support of our clients.  As always, we answer our phones with a live person that will make sure you are directed to the proper person quickly.  Our sales staff have been directed to interface with clients via phone, email or video conferencing tools in lieu of on-site meetings.  Our warehouse and delivery teams are operating as normal, following the outlined safety measures above.
